C’est sur une moto BMW que Gonzalo Lebrija a traversé la péninsule mexicaine de Basse Californie. Il n’a pas choisi son engin au hasard : ce modèle de la série R75/5 possède un accessoire que l’artiste a utilisé comme instrument de travail. Les deux flancs de réservoir chromés, d’où cette BMW tire son surnom de Toaster (grille-pain), ont servi de miroirs réfléchissant les paysages que Lebrija a réinterprétés avec son appareil photo au cours de sa longue randonnée. Soixante-six photographies relatent à la manière d'un carnet de voyage les tribulations de Lebrija de San Diego à Mexico City.

The result is a collection of 66 photographs that translate, as a chronicle of travel, the vicissitudes of Lebrija through the Bajacaliforniano territory.
